The Continuing Education (CE) committee is established by The Pharmacy Council of St. Lucia and is comprised of five (5) members who are practising pharmacists. The objectives of the continuing education committee comes from the Pharmacy Council.
The Continuing Education Committee was instituted to ensure that all pharmacists meet the educational requirements before registration and re-registration according to international standards and as set by the Pharmacy Council of St. Lucia.
1- Credits must be ACPE approved activities.
ACPE - Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education
2- Pharmacy credits are identified as CPE credits.
CPE - continuing pharmacy education
3- Some online websites also state them as CEUs (Continuing Education Units) and would normally state them with the contact hours of the activity. Eg: A CE which was 2 hours long will be stated as follows:
